 In class I studied for my 7th period final. We didn’t do any assignments for the class today. I will be studying for this final as well this week. Today has been a good day so far. Ready to pass all my finals.

 Today in class we took a survey on how our first semester was in lit comp. My favorite part of first semester that I liked was reading Emily Dickinson poems because they were really interesting and well written with a purpose behind them. I did not do very good on the test taking in this class this semester but hope to approve next semester. I think I will approve by trying to understand the bigger meanings in the stories we read and getting a clear understanding. After I took my survey that I answered honestly, I worked on final practice for another class.

 Since it is finals week we didn’t do any assignments for lit comp. We were able to do any assignments that we needed for other classes. I worked on my Early Childhood project that I haven’t yet finished. I liked having this time to work on my other classes work and catch up. My day is good.

 We finished up our benchmark on illuminate. I finished 11 questions on Monday so I had 9 more questions to do today. I wrote about one the story and hard to finish it off and put my own narrative on it as a conclusion. In the other text it explained all the amendments and the questions asked about the shifts in them and pictures that described them. My day is good.

 Today in class all I did was study for my math test and do Spanish work. I studied for my test on delta math to prepare for next period. I completed my Spanish work that is due tomorrow on adjectives in Spanish. My day is good so far. I will be staying after school to attend my club meeting and watch music concert.

 We did not do anything in class today nor stay in class. We went to the auditorium for the 11th graders to talk about dual enrollment and college. I didn’t participate because I’m in 10th grade. I listened to their suggestions and information anyways. My day is good. 

 Today in class we took half of our benchmark and will finish the other half Friday. I read a story about a character named Young Goodman Brown that had a lot of metaphors and hidden meanings inside of it. I think I concluded the right answers about the text as best as I could. The text was very interesting and insightful. The day is going good.

 My racial descent is African and Indian. My cultural heritage is a mix of different races with my grandmother and great grandmother being Indian, Black, and Dominican. My grandfather was mostly black with parents from Africa. In my collage I include Africa and India as a symbol of my ethnicity because those are the two common ones I know about myself. In the images for Africa I put a picture of a woman in her African clothes with all types of designs and color because it represents the power of women in this culture. The food I put is called fufu which is one of the popular foods in this culture. The long colorful dresses and headpieces that women wear give them a distinctive look and to me makes their black skin tone look amazing. In both cultures dance is an important factor and represented at many events and parties. I also put the staple dish foods in Indian culture named Aloo Gobi and Paratha.
